Dr. Leah CHIBWE

Environmental Chemist

Leah is an Environmental Chemist at IECS and Adjunct Professor in the Chemistry/Biochemistry Department. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Colorado College, and PhD in environmental analytical chemistry from Oregon State University (OSU). Her research interests lie in using analytical chemistry techniques and effects-directed approaches to study and address the effects of emerging and priority contaminants in environmental mixtures

Dr. Leah CHIBWE

IECS is situated on the territories of the nêhiyawak, Anihšināpēk, Dakota, Lakota, and Nakoda, and the homeland of the Métis/Michif Nation, is on Treaty 4 lands with a presence in Treaty 6. We respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the lands and waters upon which we work and operate.
